Easy Alohas

The Easy Alohas Bas Albers (28)
and Gerard Janssen (29) are hated and loved in the Netherlands by introducing
`danceable easy listening' to the Dutch dancefloors (latin percussion, wordless
vocals, and weird instrumentation). They even had a hitsingle ('Aloha') in the
Netherlands.
The Easy Alohas nowadays have
their own clubnight in Amsterdam and deejay all around Europe. They even seem to
have their own little fanclub in Berlin. The Alohas may not be as easy as they
used to be, they still are highly original deejays which mix exotica, crime
jazz, beatnik, space age funk, soul jivers, moogy sitartunes, rare grooves,
weird techno, funky triphop, future disco, drum 'n bass and lots of percussion.
To hear it is to understand it. The important English deejay magazine MixMag
heard an Aloha-mixtape and thought it was brilliant.
The Easy Alohas take you for a
ride to cloud number 007 to explore the frontiers in Hi Fi. But above all there
should be dancing and hugging on the dancefloor.
